This is the new boy Cael, a 6mth old rescue who was dumped in the woods with his brothers. He's been in the family for 2wks and is easing the pain of loss. Rio would have liked Cael, he would have loved to play with him. Cael is adopting Rio's bed, and his end on the sofa. Lana, my remaining spinone, has taken Cael under her wing and seems more relaxed now there is another dog in the house. Rio will never be replaced, he is still sorely missed but there is a new boy in the house, ready to take up the mantle of family charmer and companion. I'm looking forward to seeing him grow and develop. I feel Rio would have approved of young Cael and that another dog benefits from some love and pampering. Welcome Cael, uncle Rio watches over you.

I lost my two cats aged 18 and 16 over 5 years ago and I really missed them. It took me 3½ years to feel strong enough to get another cat. I adopted my rescue Ragdoll boy and I'm so glad I did. I haven't forgotten my two moggies, Mollie and Dylan and they will always have a special place in my heart. I've found though that a house without a cat (or a pet) is not a home. Cody is such a sweet boy and I love having him around. He's VERY talkative and loyal. I said "never again" when I lost my cats but I'm so glad I changed my mind.

After 3½ years without a cat because we were so heartbroken when we lost our last two we've decided to get another cat. He's a big beautiful Ragdoll boy. Its his first day today and he's settled in really well. Its great to have a pet again, it's been too long

This is my gorgeous boy Cosmo, who I got from a family friend after losing my much loved cat Poppy. He's the sweetest, most gentle and loving cat anyone could ask for, being in his presence makes me happy and loved when he bursts with purrs.
