We lost our meggymoo on Sunday morning to Cancer and have just recieved her ashes back we have bought a small Cherry tree to plant when we bury her on Friday in our garden. My husband and I are completly devistated, she was the most loving and loyal King Charles Cavilier any one could have known she was only 6 years old and John himself is absoulutly gutted as she was his constant companion and never left his side, we have both broke our hearts and the worse time is on a morning when we first get up and she is not there, she could also snore for england during the day and night when she slept the house is so quiet now. I know this is going to take a long time to heal. she didn't deserve to go so young our pretty, sweet meggymoo.

Hi there!

I am so sorry to hear your awful news, I can totally sympathise with you. We lost our beautiful boy Louis to cancer and he was only 6 too! It has been 17 months since we lost him, but still no day goes by when I don't shed a tear for him. People say it gets easier and you start to smile when you remember your memories, that is true, but the killer is losing them so young, it's just not fair.
The only comforting thing I can say is that we all know exactly how you feel and we need to be reassured that we could not have loved them anymore while they were with us( all be it for a shorter time than what we could have wished for). As they say only the good die young, and maybe heaven needed a few more angels?

RIP Meggymoo

Love to you both xx

I am sorry for your loss, i remember how it felt, like your whole world has come to an end, yes the mornings are the worst but so is the rest of the day. You gave her a good life and have a lot of happy memories of her, it took me ages to be able to look at photos, but i have found a nice photo of my Basil and took it to Asda and had a cushion made of him which is absolutely beautiful. I know its a bit early for you yet but it has given me comfort as i talk to him and he looks like he is sat on my bed like he used to, take care and you do learn to live with it x

Thinking of you
