Still missing My Louis so much!

It's been 2 1/2 months now since my little boy passed away. The feelings are still so raw, not a day passes without tears and thoughts of him. One minute I am okay, the next is like someone whacking a cricket back across my stomach and then all the sadness comes flooding back. I miss you so much my little angel. Oh to have time again with you, my perfect little boy. Xxx

Bless you Fiona, sorry to hear it is still so tough. We always say that there is no set time for this grieving process and the recovery/healing that will hopefully follow. It is important to have support around you and I hope you feel you have this. If not, please consider getting in touch with the Pet Bereavement Support Service or similar. Also you may have already but I wondered if you think it would help you if you did something positive to memorialise him - for example sponsor a kennel in a rescue centre in his name, or make a donation in his name, or volunteer some of your time to help rescue dogs or something like that? Just thinking aloud but some people find it helps to focus their emotions in a positive way.

Really hopes it starts to get a little bit better day-by-day for you.

Thinking of you.

Thank you Shailen for your kind words. I just keep thinking of when we had to say goodbye to him and keep remembering all the hints he gave me to tell me he wasn't feeling well. But at the time I didn't realise. Hind sight is great!
I have tried today to do a memorial on your site for him, but the site said there was a fault and to tell you! Not sure if it's me or your site? Will try again, although doing it today took all my energy and tears, but I do think it is a good thing to do.

Thanks again

Fiona

I understand your regret Fiona but I should say that it is a very difficult call to make. I know people often say 'you will know when the time is right' but I have also had a similar conversation with many people where the decision is just not clear-cut. Basically please try not to feel guilty or regretful about the timing.

Sorry you had a problem with creating the memorial. I have had this looked into and I am assured the technical problem has been fixed and that it should work for you so please do try again when you feel able.

Take care.

Thanks Shailen, I've just done the memorial for Louis and it worked.

Many thanks
