I found this site by accident a few minutes ago. It is so helpful to read that others have similar experiences and feelings at the loss of their best friends, especially when that friend is still young or died suddenly. The sensitive posts help me to try to deal with losses that are still upsetting. Thank you again. Liz. x

P.S. My love to those of you who are having to deal with more recent losses and the rawness of the emotions which accompany that. x

Hi Liz,

I am glad that reading some of the posts helped a little and thanks for the feedback; it is good to hear.

I had to edit the posts and it seemed to remove your name - computers! - so sorry about that.

Yes Shailen, it helped a lot. A strong theme running through the posts is that it's sometimes hard for others to understand how devastated one can be at the loss of a pet, despite the research ,which shows that it is devastating! So I think that this site is brilliant and a little bit of fate helped me to come across it. It is also really easy to navigate. Don't worry about the computer being stroppy: machines in general hate me and I struggle always with them so thank goodness for humans and our precious animals. x
