Human family: Cat Searle

Rupert Searle

Rupert was a very calm dog. He was more like a cat than a dog. His morring routine was very simple and the same every day. He would wake up, come down for breakfast go to the loo, go back to bed, later, come back down for tea, go to the loo again and then go to sleep until the next day comes round. He was amazing because he had a bad heart, recoverd, and bad liver, recoved and 3 strokes, recoved. Then the fourth stroke. He didnt recover fully and his arthritis was giving him pain. He was whinsing. Mum said to me ( i was only 7 ) " Rupert is going to the vets to be checked up, then he will be back. In the mean time, you can go to grandad's x x he has a present for you" I was sat next to Rupert in the Car on the way to Grandads. Later, mum came in to grandads and said " Cat, Rupert is happy now. He is in a happy place now, up there " Tears were in my eyes. I cryed for hours. I didnt even get to say goodbye....... miss you Rupert . Always will.... :-(
