Scratchy

Our little 'un, our Scratchy our perfect girl. With a tuxedo and four white paws you joined us along with your gorgeous big black brother Itchy in 1997. A little baby, the prettiest little pin up for almost 16 years!! Dan always said you could be a calendar girl.
On April the 24th you were suddenly and cruelly knocked down by a speeding car. They didn't stop, but a wonderful lady was out jogging she found you straight away and brought you home and into the arms of Mum and Dad. We were the first hosue she saw, so so very fortunate it was your home. Our hearts were shattered, our beautiful perfect girl, took so long to build back up, we poured our hearts into Itchy, all our love for you both. He had the job of two to do in our lives. Love did not save you if it could have, of course it would have. Itchy followed you on Sunday, he'd missed you and now you never have to be lonely, he is back cuddling you.
You were rescued, along with Itchy, your mum and another litter by the RSPCA and chosen for your gorgeous little nature by Dan while he was on work experience. You were a shy little thing and didn't like strangers but once your heart was won over you'd throw yourself around and almost burst with love!! What a reward that always was. You were still kitten in looks and heart for all the years we had you, you fought cat flu and came back from it even more determined and feisty. You were a bit of a hunter, but would always get all embarrassed and lose your dignity if we ever caught you playing. You would shout at Itchy whenever he became too boisterous cos of his size, yet, you'd always cuddle up and at night would squash into bed together even if it meant him sitting on you :-)
We carry you with us forever in everything around us and proudly in our hearts, love you so much beautiful girl, now and for all time Beth xxxxxxx
