Animal friends will be remembered on our Today We Remember page on the anniversary of their death.

Animal friends that passed away within the last 3 years will also be remembered on our Facebook page. Please note that only memorials with a photo included and the date of death recorded can be shared on Facebook.

Sooty

Sooty you were the best king of cats so loyal and loving and gentle you never strayed away from us or your brother dog jerry a rescue dog and jasmine a rescue cat your little friend and you were her mentor washing her ears and she washing yours play fighting and snugging up close in your favourite chairs or on window ledge or my bed ...Sooty your velvet paws I miss them tapping me gently every morning to wake me up for work and your purring so lovvely and relaxing me when i was stressed lying beside me in bed snuggle nuzzling me and when i cried or was upset you were there comforting me ...loving me unconditionally ...you would sit on the arm of the settee watching me on my lap-top then you would purr and ook t me so longingly especially when you wanted extra treats you loved macdonalds fries and sausage and your favourite cat foood was jelly pouches ...soots you were my big boy my boots my sooty my king of cats you were proud you were wise you never ran away or strated because you knew how much you were loved .,,my heart is still breaing and hurting as I remember the night i found you cold and stuff outside the front door you did not deserve to die alone and suffering ..you were attacked by a dangerous dog with incompetent owners who lied and to this day have still not said sorry they knew their dog attacked you my poor baby and they left you to die but you put up a fight the vet said you lost your teeth your claws but poor soots you did not stand a chance ... if I could change that night i would have been home sooner I would have been there to protect you from the horror as wounded as you were my daring..you crawled home and you dided looking at your favourite window..the lights were twinkling you didnt want us to hear or see your suffering and you wanted to die on your own territory ..roam free at rainbow bridge my darling big boy ..may you be healed and all your health restored ill never get over losing you my baby boy I cannot sleep Im crying for you your brother jerry and sister jasmine are sad and we re all crying for you but we will plant the forget me not seeds from the vets and make our little sanctuary to you ...REST IN PEACE sooty YOU were my life my joy my buddy my friend my comforter until we meet again and I feel the soft velvety paws on my face look down on us in our loss and we will never forget you xx
