So sad that you have gone to Rainbow Bridge. So grateful to have had the honour of sharing your life.
Hollie was adopted from NWESSR thirteen and a half years ago. She was abused, neglected and a very frightened little girl. She drove me to distraction at first .... running off up the mountain, chasing sheep, cats, rabbits and putting on spanny ‘deaf ears!’ However, she became the most gentle and patient dog you could wish for. She became a surrogate Mum to Bramble and let her get away with all sorts i.e Bramble taking toys and bones out of her mouth! Hollie loved 'helping' to put up the Christmas tree especially if one of the baubles fell down, she would then run around the house with it! She also 'helped' in the garden - if you call digging up the plant that had just been put in the soil!!! Last year she got her passport and we took her and Bramble to France for a month in the campervan. She has been buried in the family garden along with other family pets before her. We will miss our lovely companion but she has left us the legacy of patience and love.
