Miss my Jessie. We rescued her when she was about 2 and although she was a funny little thing we loved her so so much and her death was so unexpected and she was so young. I thought we'd have her for ten more years...sometimes i still think i see her walking around.

My baby girl Jess, I miss you more than you could ever imagine. Having you put to sleep on 5th May 2013 was the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life. We had 19 happy, lovable years together, but it was all so quick and I just need you in my life baby girl. You are with Rusty at Rainbow Bridge and I hope you are warm, comfortable and happy, chicken pie. My life is so empty without you. I love you so much.
RIP my beautiful baby girl, I love and miss you so much. Not a day goes by when I dont think of you. You were a huge part of my life and made every day special. I miss giving you huggles and kisses, miss carrying you down the stairs in the morning, miss seeing you drinking out of the bowl at my feet whilst brushing my teeth, or laying on the chair in the conservatory, or on the sheepskin rug by the radiator in the bedroom. Miss everything about you. You were such a big presence in my life. Love you lots, sleep tight and hope you are in a lovely warm sunny spot - you were such a "sun bird" when you did go outside and find that sunny spot xxx
I still find every day without you so hard. I miss you my sweetheart. So, so much. What I would give to have you back. Xxx

Jess you were your Daddys special girl and you loved everyone. For a Border Collie you were never typical of your breed you were quite happy to go for a walk then spend the rest of the day asleep. You loved our holidays in the Lake District and remembered all the paths and tracks we took every year. I could go on and on about how special you were but just remember Jess you were much loved and will never be forgotten. Love you and give Sam and Barney and the rest of the gang hugs and kisses from us. Night night sweetheart. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We chose Jess from the Blue Cross, to be our "shop cat", where she reigned supreme for 12 years. Well known in our small village, and loved and photographed by hundreds of tourists, appeared on "Homes under the Hammer", and is still on Google, Four years ago today, while we were all sat in the evening sunshine with her, she had a heart attack, which killed her instantly. What a lovely way to go. People still come into the shop asking after her. Miss you lots Jess, you were very special and unique. xxxxxxx
